In the summer of 2016, I participated in the Eastern Michigan Writing Project Summer Institute for the second time. This time, I returned in the position of the Research Coach. My role was to help guide participants in planning their teacher research proposals for the new school year, and also to help facilitate the program in other ways as the need arose.
Although I had a job in the Summer Institute, I also participated in the writing and in planning for my own research. Here is some of my work:
- Writing
- Tentative Research Question: What happens when students use reflective/metacognitive journaling strategies?
